Alex Kass recorded this in a series of complete takes, the best two of which were layered to produce the album. I'm playing keys with one hand, drums with the rest of the body, and singing, all at the same time. It was a high water mark in terms of multitasking. Josef Martonyi (www.joemartonyi.com) did the artwork by creating a giant collage and then cutting it into 48 squares.
